After perusal the report given by the RO, it was observed that the PP has applied for obtaining Consent to Establish (NOC) of the Board from pollution angle for development of Residential Plots @ 116 Nos., EWS Plots (0.695 Acre) @ 01 No. & Commercial Shops @ 24 Nos. in land area of 13.92 acers for discharge of treated domestic effluent @ 223.3 KLD (94.8 KLD in dual plumbing, 12.83 KLD into green area/parks and remaining 115.67 KLD will be discharged onto land for plantation in an area of 07 Kanal 10.66 Marla adjoining to the premises.
The Project Proponent has submitted copy of approved building plan duly signed by the Municipal Authorities, Barnala issued vide letter no. BNL-UD-LDC-2025/1151dated 19.11.2025.
• The project proponent has submitted copy feasibility report of STP (250 KLD) to be installed for the treatment of domestic effluent generated from the colony. As per feasibility report, the domestic effluent will be generated @ 223.3 KLD (94.8 KLD in dual plumbing, 12.83 KLD into green area/parks and remaining 115.67KLD will be discharged onto land for planation in an area of 7 k-10 M or discharge into MC sewer if the adequacy of terminal STP at the time full occupancy.
The proposed site is complying with the siting guidelines as mentioned in the above note. As per which the total maximum built-up area of the project is 73282.692 Sq. meter including residential & commercial. As the total area is less than 50 hectare and built-up area is less than 1,50,000 sq meter, hence project does not cover in the EIA notification.
If approved, it is recommended that Consent to Establish (NOC) may be granted to the Project Proponent for development of Residential Plots @ 116 Nos., EWS Plots (0.695 Acre) & Commercial Shops @ 24 Nos. in land area of 13.92 acers for discharge of treated domestic effluent @ 223.3 KLD (94.8 KLD in dual plumbing, 12.83 KLD into green area/parks and remaining 115.67 KLD will be discharged onto land for plantation in an area of 07 Kanal 10.66 Marlas adjoining to the premises with suitable and special conditions .
