2....The industry has 872 KLD of consented effluent with limited availability of 8,5 acres of land making very high application rate. Gurdaspur district in Punjab typically is one of the higher-precipitation districts in the state and majority of this rainfall occurs during the monsoon season between July and September. Therefore, the industry to submit alternative/ stand by plans for this period considering limited land availability. Industry to explore recirculation and other possibilities also.
Therefore, consent be granted for shorter period of 3 months with condition as propoosed by ZO and to submit comprehensive plan for disposal of treated effluent in rainy period, please |
