The application of the industry has been scrutinized and it is submitted that the industry was earlier visited by Environmental Engineer and AEE of this office and the industry was found violating the provision of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Hazardous Waste Management Rules, 2016 for which the report has been sent separately to the Competent Authority of the Board for further necessary action. As such, the application cannot be processed at this stage and is returned with a request to comply with the decisions of the competent authority and the provisions of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Hazardous Waste Management Rules, 2016. |
