After perusal the report given by RO, it was observed that the industry has directly applied for obtaining fresh CTO under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for the operation of solvex plant without obtaining NOC of the Board. The industry has already obtained site clearance from the SAC vide no. LC-F-SA/9/2025-FACTORY I/1275405/2025. The industry has installed entire plant & machinery as well as pollution control equipments w.r.t. water & air pollution at the site. The industry has submitted completion certificate of ETP-cum-STP of capacity 25 KLD based on MBBR technology. for the treatment of wastewater and same will be discharged onto land for plantation in an area of 01 acre. The industry has installed boiler of capacity 6.0 TPH equipped with Multi Cyclone Separator (Twin cyclone) followed by Scrubber. The industry has obtained land use classification under right to business Act and clear that the site is situated in local planning of Sunam and Master Plan is under preparation. However, this activity is allowable at this site with certain conditions. The industry has also submitted copy of approved building plan from the Competent person of Director of Factories, Punjab. The site is complying with the siting guidelines and other Environmental norms including Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981.
If approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2028 to the industry for manufacturing of Rice Bran Oil (Edible) @ 23 T/day & De-Oiled Rice Bran Cake @ 125 T/day with suitable and special conditions in the note of RO.
