It is submitted that the industry has submitted feasibility report for upgradation of its APCD with Bag house filter to achieve stringent standards wef from 16.05.2025. Currently, the Industry has one pet coke fired boiler of capacity 4 TPH and one thermopack of capacity 30 lakh Kcal having individual cyclone separators followed by wet scrubbers connected to a common stack. The unit has provided pH and SO2 meters on both the APCD and electric sub meter has been provided and as per the visit of the visiting officer the industry was found complying with the SOP's to be adhered to with regard to use of pet coke as fuel. The adequacy of current APCD can be assessed during the protocol air sampling for which the name of the unit has been given to obtain requisite permission. The the unit is in the process of further upgradation of its APCD by installing Bag house filters for which it is bound to obtain varied CTO from the Board.
Also it is recommended that the Consent may be granted subject to approval of the Competent Authority with following special conditions:
1) Consent may be granted strictly for 10.8T/day production capacity
2) Mandatory installation of flow meters at both the inlet and outlet of ETP along with regular maintenance of proper record to ensure that total quantum of trade effluent generation does not exceed 470KLD.
3) Maintenance of daily production records to ensure the production does not exceed the consented quantum
4) Any increase in production capacity beyond 10.8T/day shall require prior approval of the Board |
