The report submitted by the regional office was examined and it is observed that the workshop was again visited by Er. Jaspreet Singh, AEE of RO on 05.03.2026 & observed as under: - 1. The workshop was in operation during the visit. 2. The workshop has installed one D.G. set of capacity 250 KVA with canopy & in-adequate stack height. 3. The Service station has provided one painting room with bag filters to collect secondary fugitive emissions. The used bag filters are stored inside the premises of the service station and the same are now lifted to TSDF, Nimbua.As it has complied partially, Therefore
In view of the above, it is recommended that the application of consent to operate applied under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the workshop for short period i.e. six months with suitable and special conditions that: - 1. The workshop shall provide adequate stack height with D.G. set installed at their premises within one month. 2. The workshop shall ensure that the used bag filters are lifted to authorized person/handler and shall maintain the record of the same.3The workshop shall obtain authorization under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 within one month, if not obtained earlier.
