After perusal the report given by the RO, it was observed that the industry is a yarn dyed and towel manufacturing unit and has applied for renewal of CTO of the Board with same production capacity . But the value of fixed asset has been increase from Rs. 745.837 crore to 925.893 crore ( i.e including increase the value of free land asset and the value of plant & machinery). The industry has given its reply the value of free land increase due to revaluation of the land and plant & machinery increase @246.50 lac due to replacement of old machinery with new machinery.
It is further submitted that the industry was visited by Er. Rajiv Gupta, SEE, Er. Kamal Singla, EE & Er. Sachin Singla, AEE on 18.11.2025 and Effluent samples were collected from the STP of Trident PCD and from the inlet and outlet ETP of M/s Trident HTD and piezometric well and sent to Water lab, Patiala. As per the report, all these parameters were within prescribed limits of the Board. The industry has developed adequate planation area for the disposal of treated effluent. The industry has commissioned RO followed by MEE as reported by the RO, which is not in operation during the visit, the RO plant was not found in operation. The representative of the industry stated that the RO plant along with MEE and ATFD is operated when the production increases, and presently the unit is not operating at its full design capacity. The industry is taking steam from its sister concern unit namely Trident (PCD).
The industry is complying with previous CTO condition granted to it under both Acts.
If approved, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981, may be granted to the industry for the manufacturing of Terry Towels @ 100 MTD & Dyed Yarn @ 20 MTD by using Cotton Yarn @ 129 MTD & Processing Chemicals @ 65 MTD, as raw material for the period of five years valid up to 31/03/2031 with subject to suitable and special conditions mentioned in the note of RO.
