The industry has applied for renewal of Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
The unit has submitted compliance of previous CTO conditions in annotated form. Further, the industry has got its treated wastewater (from ETP) and stack emission samples analyzed from an NABL-accredited laboratory, and the analysis results are found to be within the prescribed limits. The validity of the said laboratory has been verified through the CPCB website and is valid up to 31.05.2028.
The Regional Office has reported that the industry is complying with the provisions of both Acts and has recommended renewal of Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 up to 31.03.2027.
In view of the above, the Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be renewed up to 31.03.2027, subject to the same terms and conditions as imposed in the previous CTO. Comptency ; CEE ( Medium orange ) |
