It is intimated that the site was visited by the undersigned and it was observed that the unit has already been established and is operational at site. Accordingly, the project proponent was advised to re-apply for Consent to Operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, as the same is required at this stage.
In view of the above, if approved, the present application may be returned and the project proponent will be guided to apply afresh for Consent to Operate under the aforesaid Acts. |
