It is submitted that the industry has applied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for Washing of Two Wheelers @ 25 numbers/day.
. Water consumption, wastewater generation and disposal as submitted by the project proponent: o Source of water supply = Submersible, o Total water consumption= 2.0 KLD o Process water consumption = 1.2 KLD o Wastewater discharge from Process = 1.0 KLD into sewer after treatment through ETP. o Domestic water consumption= 1.0 KLD o Wastewater discharge from domestic= 0.8 KLD Onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank. Air pollution process emission as submitted by the project proponent.
As per the MoM of the meeting taken by the MS on dated 13.07.2022, service station and washing units have been allowed to discharge the trade effluent into sewer after treatment through ETP.
There is no source of generation of air emissions except D.G set. The industry has installed 1 DG set of 40 KVA with canopy provided and adequate stack height. Hazardous Waste Generation, Disposal details as submitted by the project proponent The industry generates hazardous waste of category 5.1 (Used/Spent oil), Category 5.2 (Waste/residues containing oil) and 35.3 (Chemical sludge from wastewater treatment) of schedule-1.
The industry was visited by Er. Jagpreet Singh, AEE on 12.03.2026 and details of the same is as under: 1. The service station was in operation during the visit. 2. The industry has installed ETP of capacity @ 10 KLD as per feasibility report. 3. The components of the ETP as per feasibility report are as under: Bar Screen, Oil & Grease Tank, Equalization Tank, Chemical Reactor (pH Corrector), Chemical Reactor (Coagulator), Lamella Clarifier, Chlorine Contact Tank, Dual Media Filter, Activated Carbon Filter. 4. The total trade effluent of the industry @ 1.0 KLD is being discharge into sewer after treatment through ETP. 5. Due to low effluent in the collection tank samples could not be carried out during the visit. 6. The sludge generated from the ETP shall be lifted to TSDF operator. 7. The domestic effluent @ 1.0 KLD is being discharge onto land for plantation after septic tank. 8. There is no source of generation of air emission except D.G set 9. The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 40 KVA with adequate stack height and canopy provided.
10. he industry has submitted site suitability certificate issued by ATP vide no. 975/ATP/C/D dated 25.03.2026. As per the certificate the industry falls under Industrial Zone As per the Master Plan Ludhiana (2007-2031).Approved Building Plan attached from Competent person under Factories Act.
11. The industry is complying under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
In view of the above it is recommended that the Consent to establish under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be grant upto 30.09.2031 as per suitable terms and condition, please.
