It is submitted that the industry has submitted the undertaking stating the assurance to install secondary emissions containment system before 30.09.2026 as per PPCB Office Memorandum No. 450 dated 08.10.2025.
Further, for primary emission control unit has already obtained Feasibility Report from Punjab State Council Science & Technology for Containment-cum-Air Pollution Control System .
Considering above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted 'Consent to established' (NOC for first time) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, up to 30.09.2026 for S.G. Iron/M.S./C. I./S.S./Alloy Steel Casting of Auto/Agricultural Parts/Implements @ 11.4 MTD, from S.G. Iron/M.S./C. I./S.S./Alloy Steel Casting of Auto/ Agricultural Parts/Implements @ 11.7 MTD and Ferro Alloys @ 0.8 MTD with general condition as per policy of the Board and special condition that industry shall provide emission containment system as per PPCB Office Memorandum No. 450 dated 08.10.2025 before commisioning /obtaining CTO of the Board.\(comp CEE, medium , Orange) |
