It is submitted that scrutiny of the CTO application was completed on 20.03.2026.
Further, the unit was granted an opportunity of personal hearing on 17.03.2026 before the Hon’ble Chairperson of the Board, the proceedings of which were issued vide Endst. No. 1177 dated 27.03.2026.
As per the decisions conveyed in the said proceedings, the industry is required to be inspected as per the prescribed protocol and mandate issued by the Head Office for Large Red Category units.
It is further submitted that as per Office Order No. 55 dated 18.02.2026, monitoring of Large Red Category industries is to be carried out by the concerned Senior Environmental Engineer (SEE) as per the monitoring protocol issued by the Head Office.
Moreover, the proceedings also mention that in case the industry is not visited as per the present protocol issued by the Head Office for Large Red Category units, the Regional Office may seek special permission for visit and take necessary action accordingly.
In view of the above, the case is submitted for seeking permission to conduct visit of the industry, so that further necessary action regarding CTO may be taken accordingly. |
