It is intimated that the industry was granted ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2021/15364334 dated 16/07/2021 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2021/15364131 dated 16/04/2021, both having validity upto 31/03/2026 for various raw material and products as under:
Raw material:
HR Coils @ 25000 MT/Year.
Products:
CR Coils/CR strips/CR tubes (2 no. tube mills) @ 24000 MT/year.
Now, the industry has applied for renewal of ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, along with requisite document.
Fee Details:
The industry has deposited Rs. 108000/- vide R no. 309829657 dated 16.03.2026 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Rs. 108000/- vide R. no. 665576810 dated 16.03.2026 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which is adequate for 31.03.2031, against the fixed assets of Rs. 9.93 cr. as on 12.02.2026.
Visit:
Accordingly, the proposed site of the industry was visited by the undersigned on 31.03.2026 and it was observed as under:
1. The industry was in operation and is engaged in manufacturing of ERW tubes and pipes.
2. The manufacturing process of the industry is as under:
Raw material Pickling Rinsing Annealing Slitting CR tubes with ERW welding Dispatch.
3. The industry has one no. of pickling line installed in the premises. The industry uses Hydrochloric Acid for pickling process. The industry has installed alkali scrubber to control the acidic fumes being generated from the acid pickling process, which is equipped stack of adequate height and appropriate sampling arrangements.
4. The industry has installed an LPG fired hot water generator having capacity 3 lac kcal which is equipped stack of adequate height and appropriate sampling arrangements.
5. The industry has installed 03 no. LPG fired annealing furnaces having capacity 50 TPD, 30 TPD and 20 TPD (standby) having three bases with each furnace.
6. The industry has installed 01 no. cold rolling mills operational at site.
7. The industry has 04 no. of resistance welding and tube forming lines out of which two were on standby.
8. The industry has provided ETP based on physic chemical treatment for treatment of wastewater (primarily rinsing wastewater/ floor spillages/ floor washings from the pickling process), which consists of collection tank, dozing tank, reaction tank, pre filtration tank, sand filter and RO. RO permeate is used into the processes such as cooling tower.
9. The industry has installed STP based on biological aeration and settling along with PSF and ACF for treatment of domestic wastewater generated from premises. The treated wastewater is mixed with RO reject of ETP and disposed onto land for plantation in leased land outside the premises in an area of around 1600 sqm.
10. The industry has installed the water meter at the outlet from where RO reject along with STP treated water is utilized. As per the record of the industry, the industry is cumulatively using 3-4 KLD of water onto plantation.
11. The industry has stored spent acid in 06 tanks of 5 KL and fresh acid in 1 tank of 15 KL, which were placed on the pucca ground. The industry is getting the spent acid lifted by CETP operator at M/s Bantech Private Limited. The industry is maintaining the record for the lifting and as per record the last lifting occurred on 18.03.2026 with acid lifting of 12,785 KL. The industry is getting its spent acid lifting with monthly frequency.
12. The industry has submitted analysis report of domestic effluent collected from outlet of ETP and STP by M/s RB Enviro Laboratories (OPC) Private Limited on 24.02.2026 and the results are as under:

13. The industry has submitted analysis report of emission samples collected from outlet of stack of Hot water generator, Stack of Annealing Furnace and Stack of Pickling Scrubber by M/s RB Enviro Laboratories (OPC) Private Limited on 24.02.2026 and the results are as under:

14. The industry is storing its hazardous waste category 35.3, 5.2, 5.1 & 12.2 in dedicated hazardous waste room and is maintaining the record of storage and disposal for the same.

15. The industry has installed two DG sets of capacity 500 KVA and 320 KVA and both are equipped with canopies and stacks of adequate heights.
From above, it is clear that the industry is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
Recommendations:
In view of above, if approved, validity of ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, may be granted upto 31.03.2031 subject to suitable conditions and the following additional conditions that:
1. This renewal letter shall remain appended with the ‘Consent to Operate’ granted to the project proponent under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2021/15364334 dated 16/07/2021 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2021/15364131 dated 16/04/2021, both having validity upto 31/03/2026.
2. This consent is only valid for manufacturing of CR Coils/CR strips/CR tubes (2 no. tube mills) @ 24000 MT/year, only.
3. The industry shall provide water meters on outlet of ETP, RO feed, RO permeate and RO reject and shall maintain the record within 15 days.
