Sir,
1.0 The industry has submitted a clarification/exemption to SEIAA Punjab, regarding applicability of EIA notification dated 14.09.2006 for operation of glue kettles. The Industry is yet to get the clarification. The Industry was visited by AEE Lovinder Singh Mann on 27.03.2026 to verify the operations of glue kettles. The glues kettles were not in operation. The Industry has switched to blending of phenol, melamine and formaldehyde in the mean time. Photographs attached. The Industry has emailed regarding the same. The email has forwarded email to SEIAA, feasibility report, undertaking regarding achievement of emission standards.
2.0 2.0 The Industry has emailed to the regional office its feasibility report and completion certificate of new paddy fired 8 TPH capacity Boiler. The Industry has installed trema type cyclone and same has been verified during the visit. The feasibility reports is based on paddy straw as fuel and it is claimed that it will achieve 250 mg/m3 emission standards.
In interest of time, the status report is submitted for further consideration please. The Industry is yet to comply with decision no.1 of personal hearing dated 18.02.2026
