Discussed and the project proponent has submitted amendment Environment Clearance from SEIAA
vide No. SEIAA/MS/2023/523 dated. 28.03.2023 for built-up area 140031.73 sq.m and total plot area 27,680.50 sq.m, in compliance to the condition imposed in the CTE earlier granted to it.
In consideration of the report/ recommendations of RO; if approved, the competent authority be recommended that the consent to operate granted under the provision of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project upto 30.09.2027, subject to general and additional conditions that: 1. The project proponent shall comply with the conditions mentioned in the Environmental Clearance granted to it by the SEIAA, Punjab vide letter no. DECC/SEIAA/2021/4185 dated 20.05.2021 and further amendment issued vide letter no. SEIAA/MS/2023/523 dated 28.03.2023, in true letter & spirit. 2. The project proponent shall install mechanical composter of adequate capacity within 1 month. 3. The project proponent shall comply with the provisions of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 for disposal of solid waste generated from the project. 4. The project proponent shall not discharge any domestic effluent (treated or untreated) into choe / drain /river or in any inland surface water at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means and shall explore the possibility of reduction of quantum of abstraction of ground water by reusing the treated wastewater in the various activities. 5. The Consent is being issued to the unit based upon the documents/ information submitted by it along with the online application form. The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time. 6. In case the unit fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the industry.
