It is intimated that the industry is a small scale red category unit. The industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of TRACTOR & AUTOMOBILE/AUTO COMPONENTS @ 5 MTD and MACHINING & FINISHING OF VARIOUS TYPES OF FORGINGS (TRACTOR & AUTOMOBILE/AUTO COMPONENTS) @ 5 MTD by using M. S. BAR @ 5.5 Metric Tonnes/Day, VARIOUS TYPES OF FORGINGS (TRACTOR & AUTOMOBILE/AUTO COMPONENTS) @ 5.1 Metric Tonnes/Day, ZINC @ 7 Kgs/day, CAUSTIC SODA/BRIGHTNER @ 4 Kgs/day, CHROME/NICKLE @ 3 Kgs/day, ELECTROPLATING CHEMICALS @ 4 Kgs/day, HCL @ 4 Liter/day with its discharge @ 0.12 KLD to CETP operator.
The industry has submitted latest CA certificate, manufacturing process, agreement with CETP operator, rent deed, Site suitability certificate issued by DTP bearing no. 413 dated 25.02.2026. Udhyam registration certificate, site plan location plan, Electricity bill( connection date 20.10.2023) The industry has deposited The industry has deposited Rs. 44510/- vide no. 162912656 dated 11.11.2025 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 5400/- vide no. 162912656 dated 11.11.2025 as NOC regularization fee, Rs. 44510/- vide no. 122316663 dated 10.11.2025 under Air Act, 1981.
After deducting the penalty fee and previous fee for 5 year in each act. The adequacy is upto 3 year upto 31.03.2029
The industry was visited by Er. Nitish Pushkarna, AEE on 01.04.2026 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation during visit & is engaged in the process of zinc plating and nickel plating.
2. The manufacturing process involved in the process is as below:
Raw Material (M.S. Iron Rod/Bar or Friction/Hammer Forging) - Cutting->Hole->Bending or Boring/Sizing/Finishing - Barrelling->Acid Dip (If reqd)/-> Zinc/Chrome/ Nickle Bright Plating (If Reqd) – Packing - To Dispatch
3. The industry has installed 4 nos. of POWER PRESS, 6 nos. of HYDRAULIC SPM PRESS & 2 nos. of DRILL.
4. The industry is involved in Zinc plating and nickel plating process and made an agreement @ 3000 KL/month with CETP operator for lifting of its effluent.
5. The industry has provided water meter at the source of supply and the reading noted was 8.94KL.
6. The industry has provided 1 no. storage tank for collection of the effluent of capacity 2000 litres.. during the visit approximately 1800 litres was found stored.
7. The industry is maintaining the record of fresh water consumption viz-a-viz trade effluent lifted by CETP operator.
8. As per record furnished, Total water consumption in months of September 2025=1500litres(1000 litres lifted), October 2025= 1900 litres(1900 litres lifted) , November 2025= 500 litres(0 litres lifted), December 2025= 141 litres(1000 litres lifted), January 2026=1220 litres(1000 litres lifted),February= 1280 litres(1500 lifted). After considering total evaporation losses @ 10%, record pertaining to fresh water consumption and trade effluent lifted are in consonance.
9. The industry has installed 3 no. CCTV’s facing towards source of supply, process area and storage tank
10. The industry has submitted building plan prepared by approved Architect of Director of Factories, Punjab.
11. The industry is complying with the NOC conditions.
In view of above it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and may be granted to the industry for 3 year i.e. 31.03.2029 with suitable conditions and special condition that:
1. The industry shall lifts its untreated effluent to CETP time to time.
2. The industry shall maintain the record of the fresh water consumption for process as well as untreated effluent lifted by the CETP operator on regular basis and will submit record at Regional Office by 5th of every month.
3. The industry will not dispose off its untreated effluent into sewer/illegal manner at any time.
