As told by industry representative , fuel consumption in 1 boiler= approximately 2litres/hour
Total fuel consumption= 1.68kg/hour
As per BS-6 norms, sulphur content of HSD= 10ppm= 0.001%
Sulphur fraction= percentage sulphur in fuel/100= 0.00001
SO2 emissions= fuel consumption(kg/hour)X Sulphur fractionX64/32= 0.00003kg/hour
Stack height required as per CPCB formula= H= 14Q(power0.3)
=0.56metres
Stack height required for 3 boilers with common stack= 3X0.56= 1.68metres
