It is submitted that the industry was issued notice u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with an opportunity to file objection in writing within 15 days vide Zonal Office letter no. 1081-82 dated 20.03.2026. Therefore, the compliance to this show cause notice is pending. Also, on scrutiny of the application, the following deficiencies have been observed: 1. The DTP, Amritsar vide letter no. 242 DTP(A)/AL-19 dated 23.02.2026 has raised clarification for category of the industry to take further necessary action. 2. The industry has not submitted a brief project report including details of machinery that will be used for manufacturing process. 3. The industry has submitted CA certificate; however, the annual cost of lease land and the UDIN no. of certificate is not mentioned in the certificate. 4. The industry has not submitted a copy of the building plan duly prepared and authenticated by the Director of Factories / Chartered Architect / Chartered Engineer, as authorized under Section 3-A of the Punjab Factory Rules, 1952. 5. The industry has not submitted the proof of Date of Commissioning. 6. The industry has not submitted the details of the Diesel Generator sets in the application form Consent to Operate under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. 7. The industry has not submitted an application for obtaining Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. 8. The industry has not submitted the details of trade and domestic effluent generation with its treatment facility and disposal arrangements, if any. 9. The industry is also required to intimate whether any hazardous waste is generated from the process within the industrial premises, along with its quantity, category, and mode of disposal, if any. Therefore, the application cannot be processed at this stage and the applicant is hereby directed to re-submit the application with complete compliance of show cause notice issued and observations raised during scrutiny.
Further the industry has not submitted any reply therefore the application is hereby returned with an advice to resubmit the application with complete compliance of show cause notice issued and observations raised during scrutiny.
