It is submitted that earlier the total area was 25 acres and now after expansion, the total land area will be 31.05 acres (6.05 proposed expansion area). Further, the project proponent is not required to obtain Environmental clearance under EIA notification dated 14.09.2006, as the project is an plotted society having less than 50 hectares of land area. The project proponent was earlier granted consent to establish (NOC) vide no. CTE/Fresh/SAS/2021/15327242 dated 06.04.2021 valid upto 22.02.2022. Thereafter, the project proponent has obtained fresh CONSENT TO OPERATE under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/SAS/2024/25003610 dated 26.03.2024 valid upto 31.03.2028 for its entire project for which, it already obtained NOC and the CTE fee has been calculated from the date of application of the project.
Further, earlier the project proponent having green area @ 7742 sqm and after expansion, the total green area will be 9983 sqm and around 54.9 KLD can be discharged in summer season. Further, the project proponent has proposed to utilize the treated water in flushing purpose and excess shall be discharged into GMADA sewer, in case, GMADA sewer is not available, the project proponent shall bound the provided any other disposal arrangement as per fresh NOC granted by the Board, wherein, it was mentioned that “Only remaining quantity of treated wastewater (after dual plumbing and green area) shall be discharged into GMADA sewer/ MC sewer or onto adequate land for plantation purpose”.
The project proponent has provided dual plumbing system in its existing project. The project proponent has also provided 2 acres land as per Karnal Technology for disposal of treated effluent generated from the project.
