• The industry is a small scale green category unit.
• The industry has applied for Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 for commercial shops @5 number/day and Quick Service Restaurant Capacity of @ 85 Persons.
The industry was visited by Er. Jaspreet Kaur (AEE-OS) on 30.03.2025 and observed that the industry was in partially in operation.
• The industry was partially operational i.e., the restaurant was fully operational and the construction work of the shops was going on at the site.
• The industry has installed 2 no D.G set of capacity 125 KVA each with canopy.
• The industry has submitted feasibility report of the STP, lease deed and fard as land documents, solid waste receipt issued from MC Kartarpur, CA Certificate as well as layout plan issued from the competent authority.
• The industry has submitted NOC for HPC retail outlet from Department of Town & Country Planning vide no. 276 dated 28.02.2024.
• The industry has installed STP of capacity 30 KLD with MBBR Technology.
• The industry has installed Oil & Grease Trap prior to the STP to remove oil and grease content effectively.
• The treated wastewater from STP is currently used in construction activities and further will be used for plantation within premises.
• The industry is a small scale orange category and the competency of case lies with the Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Jalandhar.
Recommendation:- Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2030 with usual conditions and additional special condition that:
1. The project proponent shall obtain necessary permission/ statutory clearance from the concerned Departments, if required, if any, in future its own level.
2. The project proponent has submit water analysis report of STP within 1 month of time period.
