Based on the report submitted by EE,RO, It is intimated that the project is a large-scale red category historical memorial & Museum, which is located at Kartarpur, Distt Jalandhar. • The project was granted Consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981, which are valid up to 31.03.2026. • The project proponent was also granted Environmental Clearance vide no. SEIAA/2463 dated 20.04.2015 with total covered area of 35146.62 Sqr.mt and utilisation of 130 KLD of effluent onto land for plantation/ gardening. • Now, the project has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, through OCMMS of the Board. • The project was visited by Sh. Manpreet Singh AEE of RO on 29.01.2026, and it was observed that project proponent has installed STP consisting of a screen chamber Oil & grease chamber oil collection tank equalization tank Fluidized aerobic bio reactor tube settler Pre-filtration tank dual media filter activated carbon filter Ultra Violet System and same was in operation. The effluent sample was collected during visit from final outlet of STP and sent to Boards lab for analysis. As per analysis report received from Zonal Lab, Jalandhar endst No. 3944-46 dated 26.02.2026 the parameters are pH=8.1, TSS=11 (mg/l), COD=26 (mg/l), BOD=BDL (mg/l), O&G=BDL (mg/l), all the parameters are found within the prescribed limits of the Board. • The project proponent has installed conventional flow meter at final outlet of STP as well as energy meter with the STP which was operational. The project proponent is regularly maintaining the records of operation of STP at site. • The project proponent has installed one D.G of capacity 625 with canopy at site. • The project proponent has submitted the demand drafts for consent fees as they do not have the facility of online banking and the consent fee approval is given by the committee having Deputy Commissioner as Chairman. Recommendation :-Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project upto 31.03.2027 (upto fee validity ) with suitable conditions, please.
