Sir, it is intimated that the industry was issued show cause notice for refusal of Consent to Establish under both Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 vide this office letter no. 265 dated 30.03.2026 to reply within 07 days as the industry has not submitted feasibility report of APCD to comply with the new boiler standards as per the Environment (Protection) Amendment Rules, 1986 dated 14.06.2023. However, the industry has failed to submit any reply, till date.
The industry is not complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the Consent to Establish/NOC applied by the industry may be refused.
