The industry is a large scale green category unit, as such no air emissions or effluent samples were collected by this office during the visit. The industry has submitted the certificate issued by the DTP, Ludhiana vide Memo letter no. 3406 dated 21.11.2011, which is reproduced as under :-
ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਅਧੀਨ ਸਾਇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕਾਈ ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2007 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਦੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਈਟ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਪਲੈਨ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ (2007-21) ਦੀਆਂ ਤਜਵੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੀ.ਟੀ. ਰੋਡ ਤੋਂ 500 ਫੁੱਟ ਤੱਕ ਕਮਰਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਮਿਕਸ ਅਲਾਂਗ ਦਾ ਰੋਡ ਫਰੰਟ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾਂ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਜੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
The industry has installed new PNG based boiler in its existing premises/shed, which falls in Industrial zone as per certificate given by DTP above. As such, site of the industry is suitable.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/12/2031 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and with special conditions as under :-
1. The industry shall abide the provisions of notified Master Plan in future also.
2. The industry will not construct any building / shed in their existing premises other than industrial zone without getting prior NOC / permission from the Board/concerned department i.e. DTP, Ludhiana.
