Kindly peruse the note history & note/ report sent by EE, RO, Roopnagar.
In view of the report/ recommendations sent by EE, RO, Roopnagar, if approved, the industry may be granted consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for 01 year, subject to the suitable conditions, conditions as imposed by RO and following additional conditions:
1. The industry shall establish its unit only in those Khasra nos. for which letter has been issued vide no. 75/ਡੀ.ਟੀ.ਪੀ(ਰ)/ dated 13.02.2026 by DTP.
2. The industry shall not carry out any activity in its premises, which can change the category of unit from orange to red, without prior permission of the board.
3. The industry shall not carry out any activity in its premises, which is covered under the ambit of EIA notification dated 14.09.2006.
4. The industry shall not generate and discharge any kind of trade effluent from its premises/
5. The industry shall discharge domestic effluent on land for plantation after passing through septic tank.
6. The industry shall comply with the stipulations mentioned in the Ministry Of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Notification, notification no. G.S.R. 376(E) 18.05.2023.
7. The industry shall comply with the stipulations mentioned in the code of practice laid down by the unit for such units by the Punjab Pollution Control Board.
8. The industry obtain permission from PWRDA for abstraction of groundwater (if required) and shall comply with the guidelines of PWRDA, at all times.
9. The industry shall not start any production activity at the site, without obtaining prior consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974, and Air Act 1981.
10. The industry shall not discharge the effluent into any drain/ choe/ nallah, in any case.
11. The industry shall not discharge any effluent at any unauthorized place by any unauthorized means i.e. shall not discharge any wastewater in any drain / inland surface waters / drain/ choe/ nallah/ onto land for stagnation or outside its premises, at any time, under any circumstances.
12. The industry has been approved by the Board from pollution angle and the industry shall obtain the statutory clearances/ permissions from all other concerned departments.
13. The adequacy/ efficacy of the pollution control arrangements & disposal arrangements shall be the sole responsibility of the industry and the unit shall be bound to implement/ upgrade its pollution control arrangements as per the discretion of the Board to achieve the prescribed emission/ effluent standards, as amended from time to time.
14. The industry shall ensure the compliance of provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/ or any other environmental law applicable to him and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time.
15. In case the industry fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/ or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the industry
