In view of the report/ recommendations sent by RO, Roopnagar, if approved, the project proponent may be granted consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of water act, 1974 and air act 1981, for one year, for establishment of a marriage Palace, subject to suitable conditions, conditions as imposed by RO and following additional conditions: 1. The project proponent shall establish its unit only in that area/those Khasra numbers, for which the CLU has been issued by Senior Town Planner, SAS Nagar. 2. The project proponent shall ensure that the total built-up area of the marriage palace does not exceed 20,000 sqm, under any circumstances. 3. The project proponent shall ensure that no treated effluent is being discharged into sewer and any other unscientific mode. The entire treated effluent shall be utilized for within the project in green area and excess onto land for plantation in the area developed as per Karnal Technology. 4. The project proponent shall comply with the Board's letter no. PPCB/SEE(HQ2)/2020/15176-78 dated 09.07.2020 for mechanism/guidelines for control of pollution and enforcement of environmental norms at individual establishments and the area/ cluster of restaurants/ hotels/ motels/ banquets etc. 5. The project proponent will comply with the provisions of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000. 6. The project proponent shall ensure that the activity of unit does not create any nuisance in the surrounding areas and no public complaints are received. 7. The project proponent shall properly handle and manage the solid waste as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated into biodegradable and non-biodegradable components. 8. The project proponent shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plasticthermocol disposable items such as water bottles/ water pouches/ water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non- biodegradable material in the premises. 9. The adequacy/ efficacy of the pollution control arrangements & disposal scheme shall be the sole responsibility of the project proponent and the pp shall be bound to implement/ upgrade its pollution control & disposal arrangements as per the discretion of the Board to achieve the prescribed emission/ effluent standards, as amended from time to time. 10. The pp shall not discharge any effluent at any unauthorized place by any unauthorized means i.e. shall not discharge any wastewater in any drain / inland surface waters / drain/ choe/ nallah/ onto land for stagnation or outside its premises, at any time, under any circumstances. 11. The project has been approved by the Board from pollution angle and the industry shall obtain the statutory clearances/ permissions from all other concerned departments. 12. The project proponent shall ensure the compliance of provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/ or any other environmental law applicable to him and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time. 13. The consent is being issued to the project proponent based upon the documents/ information submitted by it along with the online application form and during hearing. The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry/project proponent and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time, without any opportunity of Personal Hearing. 14. In case the project proponent fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/ or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the project proponent.
