As per the directions of the Hon’ble NGT in its order dated 10.12.2021, the consent mechanism for poultry farms having more than 5000 birds is applicable w.e.f. 01.01.2023. Therefore, consent fee is required to be charged w.e.f. 01.01.2023.
Further, the industry is required to deposit ₹19,200/- towards consent fee under the Air Act and ₹19,200/- towards penalty under the Air Act for the period 2023–2025. Similarly, the industry is required to deposit ₹19,200/- towards consent fee under the Water Act and ₹19,200/- towards penalty under the Water Act for the same period (2023–2025) within 2 days,please. |
