Ref: Online application no. 31277296 (Extension) It is submitted that the institute was granted Consent to Establish (NOC) vide no. CTE/Exp/PTA/2025/27895455 dated 10/03/2025, which was valid upto 09/03/2026 for Educational Institute in an area of 249.13 acres and having total Built up area of 5,72,632.09 sqm with suitable conditions mentioned therein. Now, the institute has applied for obtaining extension in the validity of NOC earlier granted by the Board under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 along with requisite documents. The project proponent has deposited NOC extension fee of the project i.e. Rs 141000/- vide Transaction ID No. IN52607200356421 dated 13.03.2026 on account of NOC fee against the investment of Rs. 49.76 crore, which is adequate for 1 year. To check the latest compliance, the institute was visited by the undersigned on 11.04.2026 and contacted Sh. Anil Singla, Project Manager at site. During visit, it was observed as under: 1. The construction work (proposed during earlier EC for built up area of 4,45,678.09 Sq.mtr. i.e.) i.e. for Venture lab, New boys hostel M, New boys hostel 1250 PAX, New SS-7, 2nd floor of the laboratory block-2 and faculty residences two rowers FRG FRF has been completed. However, the construction work of guest house & sports centre is under progress. Further, the institute has not started the construction work for research lab (G+6), faculty offices, Lecture Theatre & Multi Story Parking. 2. The STP installed by the institute for the treatment of domestic effluent was found in operation. No Smell/odour was sensed near the STP. 3. The institute has completed the installation of a mist sprayer system for controlling the odour. Additionally, the institute has provided 4 no. Anti-smog guns near the STP, to suppress the odour emissions generated from the sewage treatment plant. 4. The institute has provided high-rise barricading (15 ft.) and a belt of broad-leaved trees along the boundary near the sewage treatment plant towards the residential area. 5. The treated effluent after STP was being utilized for plantation purpose in various pockets maintained by way of providing ridges & furrows as well as lawns/plantation in the premises. 6. The institute has covered the raw sewage collection-cum-equalization tank. 7. The institute has commissioned its mechanical composter of capacity 1.2 TPD for treatment of bio-degradable waste generated from the premises and the compost is being utilized in the plantation area as manure. 8. The institute has installed new activated carbon filters (ACFs) at the outlet of STP, which were found in operation. 9. The institute has also submitted compliance of EC conditions which is found in order. 10. The institute has provided DG sets of various capacities equipped with canopy and adequate stack height. 11. Institute has installed 4no.AAQMS system in the campus. From above, it is clear that the institute complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. In view of above, if approved, recommendation may be sent to SEE, ZP-1 for extension of NOC under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for one year i.e. upto 09.03.2027 with the suitable conditions mentioned in the original letter, please.
