It is submitted that the point wise reply is as under:
1. Comment on the suitability of site.
Reply: The project proponent has submitted approved building plan from Senior Town Planner, Patiala vide letter no. 1201 dated 02.08.2024. Thus, the site is suitable as per policy of the Board.
2. As per the details, the project shall fall under the orange category being having banquet hall of capacity 400 persons.
Reply: The project is hotel-cum-banquet hall + restaurant and as per CPCB categorization, the hotel having is covered under green category 4.4 Up to 20 rooms.
3. Status of installation of STP being no terminal STP exists in the area.
Reply: The project proponent has installed oil and grease trap followed by septic tank, which is leading to the plantation area developed within the premises. As such, it is recommended that the short term consent granted under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for six months with special condition that the project proponent shall submit the performance report of oil and grease trap followed by septic tank within 15 days from the Board’s lab and if it has not achieve the prescribed standards, the STP of adequate capacity may be installed and consent to operate under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2027 with suitable conditions.
