It is submitted that the industry has failed to submit compliance of Office Memorandum No. 450 dated 08.10.2025 regarding installation of the secondary emission control system. However, the industry has placed on record its correspondence with Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, requesting preparation/design of the secondary emission control system.
In view of the above, non-compliance of statutory directions, it is recommended that a Show Cause Notice for refusal of varied Consent to Operate under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be issued to the industry, affording an opportunity of Personal Hearing before the competent authority(CEE). |
