It is submitted that the industry is not using water in its process. Hence, there is no generation of trade effluent. Further, the industry is using 40 KLD for cooling purpose and same is being recirculated back into cooling tower. Moreover, the domestic effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.
Apart from this, as per PWRDA notification dated 27.01.2023 has exempted units from obtaining any permission of the authority, which are extracting not more than 300 cubic meters of ground water per month. In this case, the industry has mentioned ground water extraction @ 40 KLD. Considering 30 working days per month, ground water extraction will be 1200 KL/month, which is more than 300 KL/month. The industry has obtained certificate from PWRDA vide no. PWRDA/I/03/2024/L2/302 dated 14/03/2024 valid up to 13/03/2027.
