Sir, the industry was visited by Er. Jagpreet Singh AEE on 07.04.2026 and it was observed as under:
1. The industry was not in operation during visit.
2. The wet machinery of industry 4 no. cabinet hank machines has been sealed during earlier visit held on 06.10.2025 in presence Sh. Dinesh Chopra (Proprietor). Thereafter, the industry has submitted a request vide its letter no. 1025/1 dated 01.12.2025 and letter no. 478/2/00 dated 10.12.2025 to de-seal the dyeing machinery for delivery (Copy attached). However, no machinery was found at the site during visit as the machinery has been sold as informed telephonically by the representative.
3. The existing ETP of the industry was not in operation.
4. The industry has installed only collection tank in its premises. No construction work has started yet related to ZLD system.
5. The industry has deposited environmental compensation amounting to Rs. 3 lakhs (Rs. 2 lacs vide receipt no. 55/5606 dated 09.10.2025, Rs. 50,000/- vide receipt no. 54/5606 dated 09.10.2025 and Rs. 50,000/- vide cheque no. 975284 dated 19.04.2025) in compliance to decision no. 2 of the personal hearing dated 14.11.2024.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the application may be refused under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
