Discussed, It is submitted that earlier the CA of the Board has given approval to grant CTOs under Air Act,1981 to IF units upto 31.03.2026 which have not installed secondary emission control system. The same has expired. Thereafter, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of CA of the Board with representatives of Mandi Gobindgarh Induction Furnace Association (Regd.) and officers of PSCST alongwith officers of the Board on 09.04.2026 to deliberate upon the issue of secondary emission control system to be provided by IF units. The minutes of the said meeting are under approval. If approved, the RO, FGS be asked to process the cases of IF units in coming days in compliance of the decisions taken in the said meeting including the present case where the CTO has expired on 31.03.2026, please. |
