The agenda note has been perused and it has been observed as under:
1. RO has mentioned that the industry is yet to commission Distillation cum vapour compression unit in the package drinking water line to manufacture smart water. However, as per previous CTO granted in Dec 2022, the industry has already been granted CTO for production of smart water. Clarify the same.
2. The RO has mentioned that the record of average discharge in last 3 months from the ETP has been 150-160 KLD with maximum discharge of 215 KLD and minimum discharge of 60 KLD, which is within the consented limits. The same point has been mentioned by the then visiting officer in its visit report in year December 2022. Recheck the record and then submit.
3. Earlier, CTO was granted for production of Packaged Drinking Water (Smart Water) @ 104300 KL/year but now, the industry has applied for renewal case but with enhancement in production capacity of smart water @ 106872 KL/year with raw materials remaining same. Clarify.
4. Whether any revised approved layout plan submitted by the industry for the modifications/ alterations carried out in existing building & addition of plant & machinery.
5. Whether penalty fee considered under both Acts as the industry has applied on 10.04.2026 i.e. after 10 days of expiry of the CTO..
If approved, RO be asked to re-examine and then submit the case with clear cut recommendations, pl.
