The reply of the clarification has been given above by the AEE..The unit is currently not carrying out glue manufacturing nor blending of phenol, melamine, and formaldehyde.
In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry for one year with special condition that the industry shall submit a clarification/ exemption from SEIAA, Punjab as it doesn't require Environmental Clearance under the EIA notification dated 14.09.2006 for operation of glue kettles and till that time the industry shall not operate the glue kettles installed by it plz. |
