Violations reported by RO in the present application are as under :
1. The Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) installed for treatment of wastewater was found non-operational at the time of inspection.
2. The disposal of wastewater through land based on Karnal Technology is not justified due to non-functioning of the STP, indicating improper management of domestic effluent.
3. No suction hood has been provided in the kitchen section to control exhaust emissions.
4. No stack has been installed above roof level for proper discharge of emissions from the kitchen.
5. No mechanical bio-composter or in-situ compost pits have been provided for treatment of biodegradable solid waste generated from the premises.
6. The DG sets installed at site were found without acoustic enclosures (canopies).
7. The DG sets were also found without stacks of adequate height for proper dispersion of emissions.
8. The unit is not complying with the guidelines issued by the Board vide Office Order dated 02.02.2021 for Restaurants/Hotels/Motels/Banquets.
As such, it is recommended that a Show Cause Notice, along with an opportunity of personal hearing, be issued to the marriage palace before the SEE (B).
