It is submitted that the industry is small scale orange category restaurant/food court and was given personal hearing before Senior Environmental Engineer on 19.2.2026 wherein it was decided that:-
1. The industry shall submit a Bank Guarantee amounting Rs. 50,000/- within 07-days as an assurance to install its ETP and proper disposal of its effluent into plantation so as to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974.
2. The industry shall apply consents under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with complete documents through online system within 15-days.
3. The Regional Office shall process the consent case of the industry on merits.
The project proponent has submitted Bank Guarantee of Rs. 50000/- as an assurance to install its ETP and proper disposal of its effluent into plantation bearing no. 0251IGP261141685, valid upto 23.04.2027.
Now the project proponent has applied for CTOs for Restaurant (140 pax) and Food Court (25 pax) with domestic effluent @ 9.6 KLD. Deposited consent fee, adequate upto 31.12.2031 under both acts.
The project proponent has submitted digitally generated site plan/ building plan of the commercial building having plot size 3599.75 sq. meter, at Jandiala Guru, Amritsar from Local Body.
The project proponent has submitted copy of CLU letter issued from the Competent Authority vide no. PB/CLU/ASR/JANDI/1208 Dated 01.11.2021 for the land measuring 3599.75 sqm bearing khasra no. 4 4//14/1 located at Jandiala, Amritsar.
The project proponent has submitted feasibility report and completion certificate of STP of capacity 20 KLD.
8. As per application form, the project proponent has generate domestic effluent @ 9.6 KLD out of which 3 KLD reused for flushing, remaining onto land for plantation & boundary trees (1500 sq ft & 20 trees) and floor cleaning.
The site was visited by Er. Sukhmani Singh, AEE on 07/05/2026 and observed the following: - 1. The site is located in Village Nijjerpura and Meharbanpura, situated on the left-hand side of the Jalandhar to Amritsar Road. 2. The unit has a seating capacity of approximately 250 persons. 3. The unit has installed a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) with a capacity of 20 KLD for the treatment of wastewater generated from its premises. The treated effluent is conveyed through a dedicated pipeline for utilization in on-site plantation/greenbelt development and for flushing purposes. 4. The unit has provided separate bins for proper segregation and management of kitchen solid waste. 5. The unit has installed D.G set of capacity 63 KVA and 125 KVA which are provided with canopy and adequate stack height.
May if approved the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be granted upto 31.12.2031 with suitable terms and with special condition that:-
1. The project proponent shall get its effluent sample analysied from Boards lab within 3 months.
