It is intimated that the industry is a small scale, orange category, service station unit and has applied for obtaining fresh CTOs and deposited consent fee adequate upto 30/09/2031.
The project proponent has submitted in Principle Approval from the Invest Punjab for the Building Plan with certain conditions.
Further, it is intimated that the District Town Planner, Gurdaspur vide his office letter no. 36 dated 12/01/2024 reported that the site of the service station falls under Mixed Land Use Zone as per Master Plan, Pathankot and as per the policy of the Town & Country Planning, Automobile workshop are allowed in this zone (Copy Attached). Thus, the site of the unit is suitable for operation of service station.
The industry was visited by Er. Maninderjit Singh, AEE on 13/05/2026 and observed as under:- 1. The industry was not in operation during the visit and is engaged in the process of sale, service & repair of four wheeler. 2. The service station has installed ETP for the treatment of effluent generated from washing and servicing of vehicles. 3. The ETP consists of Settling Chamber -Oil & Grease Trap -Collection tank -Flocculator -Primary Tube Settler - Pre-Filtration Tank - Multigrade Pressure Filter -Activated Carbon Filter - Sludge Drying Beds. 4. The service station has installed STP for the treatment of domestic effluent generated from washing and servicing of vehicles. 5. The STP consists of Screen Chamber - Collection tank - Intel Chamber - MBBR (Aeration Tank) - Secondary Tube Settler - Pre-Filtration Tank - Dual Media Pressure Filter - Sludge Drying Beds. 6. The representative of the service station informed that effluent treated from the ETP is to be reused in the washing of the vehicles. 7. The service station has provided 2 nos. Paint booth with inbuilt filters as APCD and adequate stack height. 8. The service station has installed 02 nos. D.G sets of capacity 125 KVA each, which are provided with canopy. 9. The service station has provided separate HWM Room.
May if approved, Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for a period upto 30/09/2031 with suitable conditions and with special condition that:-
1. The service station shall obtain authorization under HWM Rules, 2016 immediately.
2. The service station shall get its effluent sample analyzed from Boards lab within 3 months.
