As per the categorization of the industries received from CPCB the Stone Crushers fall in the orange category and therefore, it is recommended that the varied consent may be granted under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 30/09/2020 for stone crusher-cum-screening/washing plant in supersession to the consent already granted for screening cum washing plant only subject to the suitable conditions and additional condition that the industry shall not abstract more than 20 KLD of ground water in any case. |
