No. R.O-II/LDH/CON/IND/1712 Recommendations: It is intimated that industry is a small scale cold storage unit. Earlier the industry was granted Consent to Establish vide no. O15LDH2CTE2911756 dated 13.07.2015 valid upto 12.07.2016.
Now, the industry has applied for ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 alongwith documents through OCMMS. The fixed assets of the industry are increased from 492.35 Lacs to 547.31 Lacs and the industry has submitted NOC regularization fees for the same. Accordingly, the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 11.07.2016 and observed that:-
1. The industry was in operation & is engaged for storage of potatoes.
2. There is no generation of trade effluent and only domestic effluent is discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank.
3. The unit has installed a cooling plant with a re-circulation tank and a pump motor fitted over it for the re-circulation of cooling water.
4. The industry has installed a D.G. set of capacity @100KVA, fitted with canopy
5. The industry has submitted approved building plan from Director of Factories, PB.
6. The industry has submitted copy of CLU issued by STP (Senior Town Planner) Ldh vide it memo no. 1322 dated 15.06.2015 of land measuring 2.55 Acres (21K- 19M) for cold storage purpose.
7. The industry is complying with the conditions of Consent to Establish granted to it.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that the consent under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2020 with usual conditions
