| Clarification Note: |
The application of the industry was scrutinized & examined by the undersigned and following discrepancies were observed:-
1. The industry is covered under red category and also consents were earlier granted under red category, but the industry has now applied under green category.
2. Earlier, the industry has obtained consents for Cold Storage of raw Potatoes @ 4000 MTA with air conditioners and Storing and Freezing & Chilling of Fruits & Vegetables @ 13.33 MT/D or 400 MT/month, but the industry has now applied only for frozen vegetable & fruits @ 13.33 MTD.
3. Earlier, the industry has obtained consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 for discharge of trade effluent @ 109.5 KLD and domestic effluent @ 2.95 KLD, but the industry has now applied for consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 for discharge of trade effluent @ 107.95 KLD and domestic effluent @ 1.35 KLD.
4. The industry has not submitted latest CA certificate as well as compliance of observations for which earlier consent was revoked.
As such the application of the industry for obtaining consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 cannot be processed at this stage and you are requested to give the reply of clarification within two days.
