No. R.O-II/LDH/CON/IND/1625 Recommendations: It is intimated that the industry is a small scale cattle feed unit and engaged in manufacturing of Cattle Feed @2000 MT/Year by using Maize @0.8MTD, DOC @ 2.4 MTD, Cattle Seed @0.2MTD, Cotton Seed cake @0.7MTD, Rice Phuck @0.8MTD, Rice Brain @1MTD, , Mollasses @0.2MTD, Salt @0.2MTD, Mustard Seed Cake @0.7MTD as raw material. The industry falls in Orange Category as per policy of the Board. Now, the industry has applied for ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 alongwith documents through OCMMS. The industry has submitted the consent under fees from 2010 as per fees waiver circular vide no. CEE/HQ-2/2016/114 dated 1.3.2016 The documents of the industry were scruitinized and its was observed that the industry has attached all the necessary documents alongwith requisite fees for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 . The industry has not submitted proof regarding designation of area. However on perusal of the Master Plan of Khanna available on the website of PUDA, the area is in the Industrial Zone. The industry was visited by JEE of this office on 15.07.2016 and observed that the industry was complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that: the consents under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2020 with usual conditions. |
