It is intimated that the industry is a small scale brick kiln (file no. 772) and was earlier granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as amended in 1987 No.ROJ/JAL/A/F-47 Dated 21.06.2001 Valid upto 20.06.2016. Now the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has deposited Rs. 9000/- Vide R/No. 22/4249 dated 11.07.2016 under Air Act, 1981 and Rs. 1200/- vide R.No. 23/4249 dated 11.07.0116 as NOC regularization fees which is valid upto 20.06.2021.
Accordingly, the BKO was visited by the undersigned on 14.7.2016 and observed that the BKO was not in operation due to off season. The BKO has installed a brick kiln with adequate stack height. The BKO has provided plantation along the boundary wall and had stabilized its road with keri. Crushed coal was lying at BKO to be used as fuel. The BKO has submitted a APCD completion certificate from PSCST, Chandigarh vide no.2072 dated 17.01.2001. The BKO has submitted a copy of Environmental Clearance issued by the Competent Authority vide no. SEIAA/M.S./2014/7851 dated 1.2.2014 for the period upto 20.09.2018.
Keeping in view of above, If approved consent under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as amended in 1987 may be granted to the industry upto 20.09.2018 subject to the usual condition as per policy of the Board. (Competency EE).
