File No. RO-II/LDH/CON/IND/1674: Recommendations: The industry has applied for the fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through online system alongwith requisite documents under orange category. Accordingly, the site of the industry was visited by the JEE of this office on 04.07.2016 and observed that:-
1. The industry was in operation and engaged in the manufacturing of cycle frame.
2. The industry has installed one paint booth, one gas fired/electrical oven, 5 mid welding machine and 4 Power press in its premises.
3. The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 80 KVA with canopy.
4. No trade effluent is being generated from the process and domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.
5. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
6. The industry has submitted approved building plans from the approved person of the Directors of Factories, Punjab. The industry has deposited the Rs. 3000/- as NOC regularization fees. The site of the industry falls in Industrial Area-C as per khasra no’s mentioned in the gazette notification. Hence, the site can be regularized.
7. The industry is on rent and no submersible pump is installed in this premises. Water as per requirement has been taken from M/s R.D. Impex, Industrial Area –C, Sua Road, Dhandari Kalan, Ludhiana, which have valid consents up to 30.06.2020.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2021 with usual conditions.
