File No. RO-II/LDH/CON/IND/1749: Recommendations: It is intimated that the industry has applied for the fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 under red category through online system alongwith requisite documents. Accordingly, the site of the industry was visited by the officer of this office on 26.07.2016 and it was observed as under :-
1. The industry was in operation and is engaged in cycle/auto parts.
2. Trade effluent was being generated from the process, same was being collected into plastic storage tank of capacity 3000 Ltr. The industry has made an MOU with M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana for the quantity of 10000 Ltr/month and the industry has also provided water meter on the fresh water supply line in the process area and reading of the same was 1930 Ltr during the visit. The industry has started maintaining the record of water consumed in the process and untreated trade effluent got lifted to M/s JBR technology for treatment.
3. Domestic effluent is being discharge into sewer.
4. The industry has not installed any D.G set/boiler/furnace in its premises.
5. The industry has submitted approved building plans from the approved person of the Directors of Factories, Punjab.
6. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981, the site of the industry falls in Indl Area-C as per khasra no’s mentioned in the gazette notification, the industry has deposited the Rs. 1200/- as NOC regularization fees, hence the site can be regularized.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted up to 30.06.2021 with usual conditions.
