Regional Office has forwarded the case for grant of consent to establish (NOC) to the industry as per the details mentioned in the agenda note. The case has been examined and observed as under:-
1. The industry has applied for obtaining 'Consent to Establish (NOC)' under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for establishment of cold storage unit of capacity 5000 MT for the storage & preservation of fruits & vegetables using ammonia as freezing agent as details mentioned in the agenda note.
2. The site of the industry was visited by officer of Regional Office on 27.07.2016 and it was observed as under –
a) The site is located in the revenue estate of Village Pitho along a link road from Village Pitho to Village Badiala and is surrounded by agriculture area all around.
b) The site of the industry is located at a distance of more than 100 mtrs from the nearest M.C./ Nagar Panchayat.
c) No residential area (15 Pacca houses) & village phirni / lal lakir falls within 100 mtrs. distance from the proposed site.
d) The industry has submitted the copy of CLU, issued by Chief Town Planner, Punjab, Chandigarh for an area of 11 kanals 17 marlas, bearing khasra nos. 135// 25(5-17), 136//21 (6-0) in the revenue estate of village Pitho, Tehsil Rampura Phul, Distt. Bathinda.
e) The industry has started civil work activity at the proposed site of cold storage unit.
3. The industry has submitted certificate, issued by SDM, Rampura Phul dt. 21.06.2016 (copy attached).
4. The site of the industry is suitable for establishment of cold storage unit.
Regional Office has recommended that Consent to Establish (NOC) may be granted to the industry for establishment of cold storage unit, subject to the suitable conditions.
If approved, action as proposed by EE, Regional Office, Bathinda may be taken please.
