The said industry is a marriage palace covered under orange category and is small scale industry and same is entered at serial no. PPCB/RO-3/O-S/1581 of the inventory of this office. Further, it is submitted that earlier, the Marriage Palace was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 vide No. ZO-II/LDH/RO-IV/WPC/2011/F-137 dt. 24.01.2011, valid upto 31.03.2014 & consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 vide No. ZO-II/LDH/RO-IV/APC/2011/F-116 dt. 24.01.2011, valid upto 31.03.2014.
Now, the Marriage Palace has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The application of the Marriage palace has been scrutinized and was found complete. The industry has submitted following documents i.e. CA Certificate as on 30.06.2016, Compliance reports of previous granted consents under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 ,land registry, partnership deed, sample analysis report o, location plan, site plan alongwith application form. The industry has submitted Rs. 28,200/- V.R. No. 53/4219 dt 01.08.2016 under Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 28,200/- V.R. No. 54/4219 dt 01.08.2016 and Rs. 500/- V.R.No. 52/4219 dt 01.08.2016, which is adequate upto 31.12.2025.
The marriage palace has submitted following information:-
The marriage palace has provided a STP for the treatment of domestic effluent generated from the kitchen and toilets of the marriage palace. The various components of the STP are equalization tank, bioreactor, tube settler, filter column, sludge drying bed.
The industry has provided a lawn and garden in an area of about 4 kanals for the disposal of treated domestic effluent.
The Marriage Palace is having one DG set of capacity 62 KVA ,which is with canopy and adequate stack height.
The Marriage Palace is operating since Jan 2003, and the industry has submitted the undertaking that the site falls in commercial area and has attached copy of master plan on which the site is marked.
The industry has also submitted sampling report of the sample taken by the
SIMA lab on 15.07.2016 and results of which are as pH-7.08 , TSS -44 mg/lt ,COD-163 mg/lt ,BOD -45 mg/lt ,TDS -872 mg/t & Oil & G -4.8 mg/lt. The analysis report reveals that the various parameters are within prescribed standards of the Board.
In view of above, it is, therefore, recommended that consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2020 alongwith general conditions of the Board.
