It is intimated the industry was granted consent to operate under Water Act and Air Act, which were valid upto 31.12.2012 and further extended upto 30.09.2016.
Now, the industry has applied for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry deposited Rs. 6000/- vide 44/4216 dated 17.8.2016 as Air Consent fee Rs.6000/- vide 45/4216 dated 17.8.2016 as Water Consent fee& Rs. 500/- vide 46/4216 dated 17.8.2016 as form fee. The fees deposited by the industry are adequate upto 30.09.2021.
• It is certified that:
1) I had checked the documents uploaded by the industry personally and verified the same.
2) I had personally checked the industry registration details and found that the telephone No. and other details are relating to the owner of the buffing unit.
3) The industry is listed at Serial No. HSP/CON/0350 of Inventory Prepared by this office.
4) The industry has only submitted consent fee through cheques and has not deposited any online consent fees.
5) The industry is small scale Red Category Unit and the Competency with of case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office.
The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 23.08.2016 and observed that:-
1) The industry is engaged in manufacturing of buffing of cookers parts on job basis.
2) The industry has installed 04 No. buffing machines with common dust collector as APCD with adequate stack height and sampling arrangements.
3) The industry was discharging its domestic effluent onto land for plantation after septic tank.
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2021 with suitable conditions.
