File No. RO-II/LDH/IND/GREEN/112: Earlier the industry was granted NOC vide no. PBIP/PPCB/2016/CTE/-104 dated 25.04.2016 valid upto 24.04.2017 for the manufacturing of PVC Wall Panels @ 3.9 TPD and only domestic effluent @ 0.8 KLD discharge into sewer.
Now, the industry has applied for the fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through online system alongwith requisite documents. Accordingly, the site of the industry was visited by the officer of this office on 29.08.2016 and it was observed as under :-
1. The industry was in operation during the visit.
2. The industry has installed 9 Extruders, 2 mixtures, it has provided hoods for capture of air emissions, which being generated from extruder and mixture process.
3. The industry has installed one Crusher with Inbuilt cyclone as APCD. The exhaust of system is reused in process. There is no outlet. The industry has also installed one miller.
4. No trade effluent is generating from the process and domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.
5. The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 500 KVA, with canopy and adequate stack height.
6. The industry has submitted approved building plans from the approved person of the Directors of Factories, Punjab.
7. The industry has installed submersible pump in its premises. The industry has submitted sale dated 29.09.2014 which mentions that they had installed tubewell connection in its land.
8. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 and conditions of NOC granted to it.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted up to 31.12.2020 with usual conditions.
