It is submitted that the industry was granted consent to establish (NOC) of the Board vide no. G15LDH3CTE3106290 dt. 20.09.2015, valid upto 01.09.2016. The industry will be entered in the inventory after the grant of consents.
Now the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacture of Packaged Mineral Water @ 19000 ltr/day and Pet bottles (capacity 01 ltr) @ 15400 Numbers/day using raw water @ 20,000 ltr/day for mineral water and PET pre-form @ 15400 numbers/day for manufacturing of pet bottles.
It has attached the copy of the Partnership deed, site cum location plan, Brief project report, registration deed and jamabandi, CLU certificate from senior town planner, Ludhiana, Jagraon indicating the distance of proposed site of the industry from the phirni of nearest village and no. of houses within 100 meter radius and distance from nearest road, manufacturing process details, SSI registration certificate, Copy of compliance report of previous granted NOC conditions. As per the details, the manufacturing process is as under:-
Raw water from source raw water storage raw water lifting pump sand filter activated carbon filter base exchange softener ultra violet disinfection micro filtration system high pressure pump system de-salting mixing storage of treated water polishing filtration UV disinfection system filling, sealing and Capping M/C.
As per the application by the industry it will be generating waste water @ 3600 ltr per/day. The concentration level of waste water shall be within the standards limit for discharge onto land for plantation. The industry has proposed sedimentation tank has been proposed of size 2.25m x 1.75m x 1.25m (d) for removal of dust and sand particles. Land area proposed for plantation is 710 m2. The source for domestic waste water will be water used for drinking and sanitation. Domestic effluent will be 300 ltr/day. The industry has installed a septic tank for the treatment of toilet waste water with size 9 ft. x 6 ft. x 6 ft. The industry has installed one DG set of capacity 50 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height. The industry falls under Green category of industries. The competency to decide the case lies with the Environmental Engineer being a green category. The industry has deposited Rs. 53000/- vide R. No. 03/3925 dated 15.02.2016 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 53000/- V.R.No. 04/3925 dated 15.02.2016 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.08.2026.
In view of above, consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 31.12.2025 along with general conditions of the Board.
