It is intimated that the industry is a small scale Red category unit. (File no. 01908).The registration detail were checked and found correct. The documents uploaded by the industry were verified and found correct. The industry was given personal hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer on 16.08.2016 wherein it was decided as under:-
1. The industry shall apply for consent to operate of the Board under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 as amended in 1988 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as amended in 1987 within 10 days.
2. The Regional Office Jalandhar shall process the consent applications on the merit.
Now the industry has applied for consent under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981.The industry is in operation from 4/2012 as per rent deed.The industry has deposited Rs. 1800/- vide R.No. 41/4342 dated 16.09.2016 as NOC regularization fees Rs. 16200/- vide R.No. 39/4342 dated 16.09.2016 under Water Act 1974, Rs. 16200/- vide R.No. 40/4342 dated 16.09.2016 under Air Act 1981 which is adequate upto 1.4.2021.
The industry was visited by the Er Satyajeet Singh Attri AEE on 7.10.2016 and it was observed that the industry was in operation. The industry has installed 1 no of pit furnace with adequate stack and general machinery like lathe,drill etc. The industry has installed nickel chrome electroplating section. The industry has made agreement with M/S JBR Tech. Ludhiana for disposal of its trade effluent @ 2000 ltr/month. The industry has installed water meter on pipeline leading to process area whose reading during visit was 50.10 kl. The industry has provided storage capacity of about 2000 ltr for storage of its trade effluent. About 600 ltr was stored at site during visit. The industry is maintaining the record of water consumption and trade effluent lifted by M/s JBR. industry record of the industry was checked from 1.4.2016 to 7.10.2016 and observed as under:-

The above record shows that the industry is discharging its trade effluent to M/s JBR Technology Pvt Ltd, Ludhiana regularly. The industry has submitted a certificate from MTP Jalandhar vides its letter no 761 dated 23.8.2016 mentioning that the site if the industry falls in General industrial zone. The industry has submitted approved building plan from architect approved by Director of Factories, Punjab.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.6.2020 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
